Worship

Our worship can best be described as relaxed and reverent. Worship is centered on the reading and proclaiming of Scripture. Our format follows the classic Reformed tradition, which includes prayer of confession and an affirmation of faith. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday, with choice of wine or white grape juice.

In 2023 we welcomed a new Allen GX-235 digital organ and a Steinway Model B piano. We sing from the acclaimed hymnal published by the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation in 2013, Glory to God, which contains traditional hymns, worship choruses, Taize chants, and global music.

We follow the liturgical calendar, recognizing Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, Lent, Holy Week services, Easter season, Pentecost, ending on Christ the King Sunday.

A nursery is provided for newborns through kindergarten age. Beginning with 1st grade, children are encouraged to attend worship with their families so they can learn the songs, hear the stories, and pray the prayers.
